Cancellation and Refunds
Battery Car Cancellation Rules
- Online tickets booked through Shrine Board website shall be cancelled through Online Mode only.
- For Round trip tickets, cancellation will be considered for the entire route – partial cancellation of the route will not be entertained.
- The cancellation can be made up to (and not after) 02 days before the scheduled date of travel.
- 70% of the amount shall be refunded to the Yatris as per the above timelines, the remaining 30% of the amount for the booked ticket shall accrue to the Shrine Board as processing charges.
- The refund shall be made by the Shrine Board within 15 working days from the date of cancellation of the tickets.
- The amount of refund shall be reimbursed online to the original mode of Payment used for booking of the tickets.
- Approaching any of Shrine Counters of SMVDSB by presenting physical tickets, writing e-Mails etc. shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
- In case of any delays or queries regarding refunds for failed Transactions and Cancellations, Pilgrims can write to refund@maavaishnodevi.net with Transaction Details.
- Full amount (Excluding deductions if any ) shall be refunded only in case of cancellation of Battery Car operations due to bad weather/technical reasons at the sole discretion of Shrine Board.
Ropeway Ticket Cancellation Rules
- Ticket Cancellation cannot be done once purchased online/offline
- Full amount (Excluding deductions if any ) shall be refunded only in case of cancellation of Ropeway operations due to bad weather/technical reasons at the sole discretion of Shrine Board.
- Approaching any of Shrine Counters of SMVDSB by presenting physical tickets, writing e-Mails etc. shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
- In case of any delays or queries regarding refunds for failed Transactions and Cancellations, Pilgrims can write to refund@maavaishnodevi.net with Transaction Details.
Helicoptor Ticket Cancellation Rules
- Online tickets booked through Shrine Board's website shall be cancelled through Online Mode only.
- Request for cancellation of Online tickets through any mode shall not be entertained in any manner other than Online cancellation.
- Approaching any of Shrine Counters of SMVDSB by presenting physical tickets, writing e-Mails etc. shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
- For Round trip tickets cancellation will be considered for the entire route - partial cancellation of the route will not be entertained.
- Cancellation will not be allowed if the number of Free children is greater than the Paid Pilgrims - post cancellation
- The cancellation can be made up to (and not after) 02 days before the scheduled date of travel.
- Cancellation up to 07 days prior to travel/journey day (For Jammu-Bhawan Route only):The pilgrim can cancel a booked package 07 days prior to the date of journey and can avail a refund of 70% of the package amount. The remaining amount for the booked package shall accrue to the Shrine Board as processing charges on account of cancellation of package (SDR/NDR) through online mode.
- Cancellation upto 48 Hours (02 Days) prior to travel/journey day(For Jammu-Bhawan Route only):The pilgrim can cancel the confirmed package up to 48 hours before the date of travel subject to the cut off time of 10 am and can avail a refund of 30% of the package amount.
- In case a Yatri who has a confirmed package but is not able to report at the schedule time of reporting mentioned in the e-ticket i.e. one (01) hour before the travel time, during the Heli operation at Jammu Airport, he/she will be treated as “NO SHOW" passenger. No refund shall be made to the passengers against the NO SHOW ticket
- Full amount (Excluding deductions if any ) shall be refunded only in case of cancellation of Helicoptor services due to bad weather/technical reasons at the sole discretion of Shrine Board.
- 70% of the amount shall be refunded to the Yatris as per the above timelines,the remaining 30% of the amount for the booked ticket shall accrue to the Shrine Board as processing charges.

Attka Aarti Cancellation Rules
- Ticket Cancellation cannot be done once purchased online/offline
- Full amount (Excluding deductions if any ) shall be refunded only in case of cancellation of Attka Aarti due to bad weather/technical reasons at the sole discretion of Shrine Board.
- Approaching any of Shrine Counters of SMVDSB by presenting physical tickets, writing e-Mails etc. shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
- In case of any delays or queries regarding refunds for failed Transactions and Cancellations, Pilgrims can write to refund@maavaishnodevi.net with Transaction Details.
- No refund shall be made to the passengers against the NO SHOW ticket
Rooms & Dormitories Cancellation Rules
- Ticket Cancellation cannot be done once purchased online/offline
- Full amount (Excluding deductions if any ) shall be refunded only in case of cancellation of Accomodations due to bad weather/technical reasons at the sole discretion of Shrine Board.
- Approaching any of Shrine Counters of SMVDSB by presenting physical tickets, writing e-Mails etc. shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
- In case of any delays or queries regarding refunds for failed Transactions and Cancellations, Pilgrims can write to refund@maavaishnodevi.net with Transaction Details.

SSVP Cancellation Rules
- Ticket Cancellation cannot be done once purchased online/offline
- Full amount (Excluding deductions if any ) shall be refunded only in case of natural calamities like earthquake, landslide and it depends on the sole discretion of Shrine Board.
- Approaching any of Shrine Counters of SMVDSB by presenting physical tickets, writing e-Mails etc. shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
