Nau Durga Temple is a highly reputed temple situated 9 kms away from Katra town. It is one of the main tourist attractions for those who want to have darshan of 9 Devi’s. The darshan can be performed in the form of Pindies.
It has a very beautiful location. The temple is inside a small cave, where you have to enter by crawling on the tile floor.
The temple is dedicated to nine different forms of Goddess Durga, namely Maha Kali, Maha Lakshmi, Maha Saraswati, Maha Durga, Maha Gauri, Maha Chandika, Maha Vaishno Devi, Maha Annapurna, and Maha Jwala Devi.
Although there isn't much documented history about the temple's origins, it is believed to be several centuries old. Devotees visit this temple to seek blessings and fulfillment of their wishes.

The taxi fare can range from ₹ 300 to ₹ 500 for a round trip from Katra to Nau Devi Mandir and back.
