Witness the divine Attka Aarti - a sacred ritual performed at two holy sites during Vaishno Devi Yatra. The Bhawan Aarti takes place inside the main sanctum, while the Garbhjoon Aarti is performed at the sacred Ardhkuwari cave. Both offer a deeply spiritual experience with priority darshan.

What is Attka Aarti?

Attka Aarti is a special early-morning and evening ritual at the sanctum of Mata Vaishno Devi at Bhawan and at the Garbhjoon cave at Ardhkuwari. Pilgrims who book the Aarti get priority darshan and a close-up spiritual experience. Tickets are limited and must be booked in advance.

Tickets are limited per slot. Book early online for guaranteed access to the Aarti.

Attka Aarti at Main Bhawan

Morning Aarti

Morning Aarti starts at 6:20 am irrespective of winter or summer. You have to report at Durga Bhawan Reception, 30 minutes before (i.e., 5:30 am/pm) the Aarti starts.

Evening Aarti

Evening Aarti starts at 6:20 pm in Winters (October to February) and 7:20 pm in Summers (March to September). You have to report at Durga Bhawan Reception, 30 minutes before (i.e., 5:30 am/pm) the Aarti starts.

Children below 10 years of age are not charged.

Aarti tickets cannot be cancelled, pre-poned, or postponed. No refunds in any case.

Shrine Board has introduced a “Group Attka Aarti” scheme under which a maximum of 4 pilgrims can avail Attka Aarti along with complimentary dormitory accommodation at Manokamna Bhawan.

For the Group Attka Aarti, 4 dormitories will be provided in Manokamna Bhawan for stay.

Offline tickets can be purchased at Durga Bhawan Reception.

For the next day morning Aarti, offline tickets can be purchased at the reception of Durga Bhawan after 9:00 pm per day.

For the same day evening Aarti, offline tickets can be purchased at the reception of Durga Bhawan after 12:15 pm per day.

For online tickets, tokens are distributed from Durga Bhawan reception at 7:00 pm for the next morning Aarti and 11:00 am for the same day evening Aarti.

Token number is used to create a queue in the morning, and people are allowed to enter the Aarti hall according to the token number. Queue is aligned as per token number at Room No. 8, near Kalka Bhawan, at 5:30 am morning and 6:00 pm evening.

Summer Timings (Mar – Sep)

In Summer, Morning Aarti continues from 6:00 am to 7:00 am.

Evening Aarti starts at 7:00 pm and ends at 8:00 pm.

Winter Timings (Oct – Feb)

In Winters, Morning Aarti continues from 6:00 am to 7:00 am.

Evening Aarti starts at 6:00 pm and ends at 7:00 pm.

Children below 10 years of age are not charged.

Token number can be purchased online or from counter No. 1 at Adhkuwari or by calling the mobile number of the counter clerk: 9906080770.

The people participating in Aarti will be given priority darshan of Garbhjoon cave after Aarti.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

There is no refund in case of no show or absence of Pilgrims. The shrine Board refunds full amount only in case the Yatra is suspended on the date of Aarti.

Full amount will be refunded within 15 days, in case of Yatra is suspended and Pilgrims are not allowed to perform yatra.

Important notice: SMVDSB has not authorized any private agent to sell Attka Aarti tickets.

Login with Aadhaar/mobile. Aadhaar is mandatory for every pilgrim attending Aarti - have all numbers ready.

Select "Aarti Booking"

Choose from: Shaym Aarti, Bhog Aarti, or Shayan Aarti. Each has fixed slots and limited seats - choose carefully.

Enter Aadhaar for Each Pilgrim

Add Aadhaar number for every person attending. Entry is denied without matching Aadhaar. Max 4 persons per booking.

Pay & Carry Aadhaar

Pay online and save your pass. Carry original Aadhaar on the day. Cancellation: up to 48 hrs before - no-show forfeits the booking.

Tip: Aarti slots open 30 days in advance and fill within hours during peak season. Book the moment slots open.
